In a Land Before Time is the theme
of Sun Yu-li's art at FireBall 2006 presented by
ECNAD
at The Arts House (The Old Parliament House) from
27 April till 1 May 2006.

7-7:30pm Yu-li will "Map the Universe" on the
main entrance door to coincide with the FireBall 2006
Grand Opening Ceremony as part of outreach programmes

29-May 1
4:30-6:00pm Yu-li will complete a painting "In a
Land Before Time" measuring 2.2m Wx 4.0m H in the
Blue Room at second storey |

of the Art House, Yu-li will display his two range of
works:

2.In a Land Before Time (latest works)----3 pcs

most welcome to pay a visit to FireBall 2006 and see Yu-li
at work.

Theme: In a land before time, nature
and people co-existed in peaceful harmony. There was a
common ground amongst different people and cultures, where
differences went away for all to share and celebrate in
the same way, everyday activities like hunting, dancing,
worshipping, celebration, fishing, courtship, parenthood,
friendship, collaboration and nature were.
In a land
before time is to remind us that in Singapore's melting
pot of diversity, Singaporeans of different races, religions
and from all walks of life still share a commonality and
common ground that we must build upon. |
